Westchester-based, student-led mentorship program for underserved local youth.
Mentorloop connects high school students with underserved families in the Westchester, NY area. Our mentors offer academic, social, and emotional support to help children thrive much like a big brother or sister would. Through this entirely volunteer-based program, we offer guidance in areas such as:
-
Academic tutoring and homework support
-
Literacy and language development
-
Building study skills and time management
-
Social and emotional mentoring
-
Confidence and self-advocacy skills
-
Encouraging healthy relationships and community engagement

WHAT WE DO
WE BELEIVE IN THE POWER OF:
Support
Academic, social, and emotional support and guidance from other teens can be transformative for a young person.
Accountability
It only takes one person who believes in you to make you believe in yourself.
Skill-building
When children actively participate and engage, they develop valuable skills. This hands-on approach empowers them to learn more effectively and retain what they’ve learned, making mentorship a truly transformative experience.
Mentorloop aims to empower under-resourced youth with the social, emotional, and academic tools necessary to succeed in their new communities. Our teen mentors take an individualized approach by working one-on-one with their students to identify specific goals, and achieve them.
Students are academically and socially equipped to thrive in and out of school and are empowered to not only recognize what is possible but to achieve it.
All young people, regardless of their circumstance, are entitled to meaningful support and guidance so that they are in the best position to discover their passions and capabilities.
